Who We Are
New Hope Community Church of the Nazarene is a caring, loving, growing group of people who believe the Christian faith to be positive, practical and relevant in today's world. We believe that the Bible provides answers to the problems of life and by experiencing a relationship with Jesus Christ, He can give you hope, peace, purpose and a balanced perspective on life.
What We Believe
THE BIBLE - the Old Testament and the New Testament scriptures contain all truth necessary for faith and Christian living.
GOD exists eternally in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and has revealed Himself to be perfect in love, righteous in all His ways, and the Creator of all things.
JESUS CHRIST is God's eternal Son, as truly God and truly man. He was born of a virgin, taught the people how to live through His sinless life, was crucified on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins, arose bodily from the dead and was seen by others, and returned to Heaven to prepare a place for us in eternity.
HOLY SPIRIT is God at work, persuading us to repent of our sins and to confess Jesus Christ as Lord. He lives in us, teaches us, enables us to live godly lives and gives gifts for us.
Our Mission, Vision and Method
Our mission is to bring a message of HOPE to people so they become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to be a Biblically functioning community of believers so that Christ's redemptive purposes can be accomplished in the world. Our method is to bring believers to spiritual maturity through FLOWS:
FELLOWSHIP with other Christians,
LEARNING and living Christ's teachings,
OUTREACH to all people,
WORSHIP Him alone, and doing
SERVICE in His name.
